About Us
EMILE B. MBOUH
Director
Director and Founder of Emile Star Soccer, Emile B. Mbouh is a former professional soccer player. He was a starter in Europe, Asia, and Africa and for the 1990 and 1994 Cameroon World Cup Team. His achievements as a soccer player are well known all over the world. He was captain of the Cameroon National Team 1988 and 1989 and has earned 113 caps as the captain of the Cameroonian national team.
Emile's philosophy is to help to develop each player's skills while enhancing their self confidence so they are able to handle the technical and tactical challenges they will encounter on the field. The technical training includes mastering ball skills: first touch, controlling the ball, passing, heading, turning, feinting and shooting with both feet. The tactical emphasis is getting the player to be able to read the game so they can confidently play their position with good decision making.
Emile currently coaches in the Bethesda Soccer Club and the newly formed Rockville Soccer Club, has a U-11 and a U-15 team, and was the longstanding coach of the infamous Bethesda Legend Team. In addition to coaching, he trains beginning to college aged players through his Emile Star Soccer Program.
